Kristin Long has been an attorney since 1989. She spent 19 years as a top prosecutor in the Santa Cruz District Attorney’s Office specializing in sexual assault, child molest and domestic violence cases. For the past decade, she has been a family lawyer and finds her prosecutorial experience well-suited for family law. A recently retired board member of the Santa Cruz Diversity Center for seven years, Kristin remains involved in the Center. She was also on the Santa Cruz County Domestic Violence Task Force, BAYMEC Board and Mayor Bryant’s Public Safety Task Force. She is the proud parent of a 17 year old daughter, three dogs and a cat. She is an accomplished musician and composer and likes to grow roses.
